Warning: Phishing E-mails Sent To Our Customers

WhiteHorse Communications, Inc. (WHC) is warning of "phishing" emails that were sent out to our WHC.Net customers and is claiming to originate from "support@wch.net.WhiteHorse.Communications." These emails are not legitimate.

The scam e-mail tells the recipient that their account will be terminated and asks for their full e-mail address, username, and password details to prevent deactivation and service interruption. These details are used to access a person's e-mail account, and/or using their e-mail account to send other phishing e-mails.

We never use emails, telephone calls, or external companies to ask for their username, password, or any other personal information. We would strongly encourage anyone receiving such an e-mail to immediately delete it from their computer or inbox.

Please contact us at (877) 521-2136 if you have any questions or replied to this phishing e-mail with your account information.

Thank you,
